Roles and Access

This section tells Modulus who is staff and what roles it should manage.

Staff Roles

• Moderators: can use moderation commands and review cases.
• Administrators: can use high-impact actions like bans, quarantine, and raid tools.

Dashboard Access Roles

Optional roles that can open the dashboard without the Manage Guild permission.

Moderation Roles

• Quarantine role: used when a member is quarantined.
• Mute role: legacy only, usually not needed when timeouts are enabled.

Tips

• The Modulus bot role must sit above any role it needs to manage.
• Keep staff roles minimal and well organized.
